I kinda wanted to see more of Maru's reaction to seeing Haruki and Kiriko, I guess that's for next chapter. Having it split between two stories makes the whole manga slow to a crawl a little. I guess it'll be better when you're not reading it monthly.

Last chapter revealed that Hiruko could theoretically show up in the general population. I thought the reason he heard the Hiruko call would be because of some grafting experiments he did to himself but perhaps he was always one?
