Except for Clannad and Steins( arguably Kanon and some Higurashi and Ufo's Fate) VNs anime adaptations are bad. The problem of routes being difficult to adapt isn't always an excuse, because Higurashi is fairly linear, but Clannad has routes. Are there any others that are interesting or that you think are overlooked? (not a rec thread)
Muramasa.
>>287652286is never going to have an adaptation
Air is not good but i would say it's the better of the "bad" vn adaptations, it's certainly no tsukihime. There's also the original utawarerumono anime.
>>287652039white album 2 has some decent parts, better than the average shitty romance. its and okish anime and a mediocre adaptation of a really good source material
>>287652039The White Album 2 anime is gorgeous and arguably a smoother entry point than the VN, due to how it handled hidden/unlockable scenes compared to the game. The nicer art, full animation, and music timing also really enhance the impact of big scenes.
>>287652039The first 10 episodes of Angel Beats are the best anime ever.>inb4 it wasn't a vnIt has one
>>287652486>>287652616I'm still reading the introduction chapter but is the MC gonna do some stupid shit, right? If there's one thing I really do not like it's when protagonists do obviously stupid things and everything fails.
Amagami.>But...Amagami.
>>287652708There are times you will want to strangle him, though maybe not in intro chapter, depending on your standards.
>>287652431...And that's a good thing. They'd ruin it.
>>287652039Just finished Umineko VN recently. Now I finally understand why this series is literally impossible to adapt into anime.
>>287652039YU-NO remake was somewhat good. Amd could be even better if there was no shitmaker Evan Call for music.
Ef
I can't think of a counter example
>>287652039Gnosia was pretty good wasn't it? Though it had an easier time since it barely constitutes a VN in the first place and you spend the majority of the time playing a repetitive social deduction game instead of reading walls of text.
