How do you respond to the criticism that the entire jimiko archetype is for people with low self-esteem who don't believe they can get women who are more attractive and thus depict the women they would "settle" for as being attractive on account of those women seeming relatively attainable?3. Given question #2, why are there so few anime or manga that appeal to the jimiko or mojyo as the primary romantic interests? It seems like an obvious choice given some of the types of people that consume anime and manga.
