I don’t see the appeal of Frieren. The art style is completely generic, it looks like every other fantasy anime. Combined with unoriginal character design, it comes across as uninspiring and lacking any distinctive elements.I know this is unfair, but when I compare it to the designs from Final Fantasy IV, where every character is distinct, Frieren comes off as soulless slop.
