Losers breed losers, and each generation gets progressively worse.It wasn't bad when the anime and manga industry mostly consisted of normal people with real life experiences experimenting with the medium, or geeks who still had social lives before the internet, but with each successive generation, the fans became the new creators, and we ended up with with an industry that mostly consisted of socially inept losers who had grown up with nothing but pop culture (in this case, anime, manga and games) to draw inspiration from, and no actual relevant life experience.It's not exclusive to weeb shit though, but has pretty much affected all media, and even real life.
