Why are gangsters/yakuza/mafia manga so rare?
Considering its Japan, id expect it to be a more common trope than it really is.

The jews fear the yakuza

1. Because they went out of style.
2. Because yakuza are criminals.

but "the fable" is super popular in nippon, isnt it on its 3rd part already

they really aren't
you're fishing for recommendations, aren't you?
>>
>go to your database of choice (anilist, mal, bakaupdates, whatever)
>go to search manga
>choose "mafia" or "yakuza" tag
>enjoy the hundreds of entries
it's that easy

They're not rare, you're reading the wrong magazines.
