who?
>>287679654Its on the list man, dont rush me.
otokojuku jukucho edajima heihachi de aru
>>287681277>>287679654Thus says the Principal!
WASHI GA
Sir this is a retirement home
Unfunny, repetitive gag.
Hilarious, classic gag.
>>287679654Is this actually good? I've been curious about it ever since i saw it in of those jump games
>>287682911I enjoyed my time with it
>>287682911I love it, it's hilarious. It's the funniest shit, it's a special high school for the worst-of the-worst juvenile delinquents, the Seniors are portrayed as literal warlords straight out of Fist of the North Star. So many hilarious goofy things. it's definitely worth a watch, but yes it's a bit dated and has poor pacing. But . . . it has soul.
>>287682911It's an all-time classic
I love how Heihachi was dubbed by Heihachi.
First episode in and, holy shit, he's literally me.
>>287686209Charles Manson?
>>287686209First episode is filler. You may as well do the manga instead because you're getting cut off midway through an arc at the end. >>287685788>>287682911It's kind of like JoJo mixed in with HnK. The former because it's a constant array of goofy fights and gimmicks, the latter because it's oozing with machismo but taken to the point of parody. Pretty much every character comes back to life without explanation no matter what their "death" was. It's a lot of fun but far too much of the cast is made up of stone-faced stoics with little in the way of personality traits.
>>287682911The Ping Pong Club and Okama Report are similar yet funnier
>>287686623Jojo is like an Otokojuku ripoff. Early Otokojuku was the best because it was much more satirical (it's really just a more artistically refined version of his earlier popular series') but then eventually he found the funny again while still following the generic endless series of battles formula. It also got a ton of later spin-offs and sequels.
>>287686876I'd say that, but if you look at the dates of releases, Otokojuku likely copied JoJo as well.
>>287685788I assume that's the mangaka? kek absolutely based
>>287682911It's like Baki and fist of the north star had drunken sex and dropped the resulting child on its head a few times.
>>287687454I liked the manga, but I really ended up liking the anime too. Parts of it are kind of a slog, but it's a great goofy forerunner of a lot of other battle school shonen. I mean, if you hate it, you hate it, but it's definitely worth trying. It probably will surprise you. You have to learn how to go along with the author's goofy humor, sort of like Gintama.
J was my favorite stoic man.
>>287688057And to that guy who said, "Oh, the guys are too stoic and there aren't enough fruity little twinks with gaytarded personalities!" Hey, fuck you. Go watch One Piece, you fucking freak. This is a school for men, not fruity little boys and candyboys and candymen or whatever kind of gay goofy devilfruit shit you are into. Fag-of-the-week shit. Screaming about shit in stupid high-pitched little girl gay-boy voices is funny, huh, huh, huh?I mean I like One Piece too, but GODDAMN.
>>287682911it has the best tournament arc that never saw the light of day in anime form
>>287688109It's one of the few series I have seen that openly mocks sissy femboys instead of worshipping them as a coping mechanism for the fact that the average jap male has less testosterone than a western woman ovulating
>>287686623I'd say that it's more like Kinnikuman wearing Hokuto no Ken's skin
>>287688602in this manga even the sissies are TRUE MEN
>>287688602looks like a Riyoko Ikeda love interest which is still manlier than modern shoujo MLs
