This show is way too smart for me, but I still watched it all the way into its 4th season. I only have a vague idea of what the plot is even about. It's something to do with a witch. Only post intelligent shows which require much thinking to enjoy.

Now I think of it, the actual confusing part was season 2. I just had to accept there was what I thought was happening, and what was actually happening, and the show would never clarify whether or not I was wrong. The other seasons less so.
To be fair, you need a high iq to understand re:zero..

Witches happened. They were captured/contained and now some/all wish to escape. Its not really that hard to figure out. Witches and boars.
