Until someone makes a Berserk project starting from post-Eclipse, I am not caring at all.
The sfx and voice acting is insultingly bad. Brings down the work overall.
Fan work or official no Berserk anime will ever match 97. It will be cgi hell going forward.

Most of the voices were ok but some of them sounded rough, guts sounds a little quite and pucks sounds ok as an impression of liquid puck from the game, the music is mostly great, the opening and ending are great with the Opening being an absolute banger but i do wish we would get a female singer for the ending, the ending feels incomplete without lyrics.I honestly always her a female voice from puck similar to the 2016 anime, male voice puck always sounded wrong to me.The animation is mostly fine since is closer to the limited 97 version but it is missing the "solid" feel of the old anime.The akira reference with the horse made me laugh and the intro with the dialogue about struggle to the opening was hype.I wish for more but lets be honest either these guys channel will ba taking down by seething nipon or they will stop due to drama or losimg interest, i really wish instead of the black swordman it was a lost child adaptation.As an adaptation made by fans and pure love towards the material 9/10 one episode and it beats both seasons of clangserkThis reminds me whatever the fuck happened to that RE-Take fan anime?

This shit still looks amateurish as fuck.It's the motherfucking height of arrogance for people with no experience whatsoever to think they can make an "adaptation" of a manga that has an insane amount of drafstmanship and composition work. Berserk isn't the kind of shit you can just animate after bouncing a ball a few times. (The animation has to look realistic, too, by Miura's own words when they were making the 4C movies, think Ghost in the shell and jin-roh, not Kill la Kill and Yaiba) With the level of drawing AND animation skills needed for a project like this, there's really not a lot of people in the world capable of giving it justice, and if you somehow managed to bring them in you couldn't pay them enough because despite Berserk being really popular, it's not THAT popular, it can't have that amount of money. And it wouldn't bring more money too.The truth is you can't adapt Berserk. Visually the best effort was the third movie of the triology and even then it wasn't perfect. The 1997 show was decent but visually quite weak.You can't adapt Berserk and it's fine. It doesn't have to.

That was when criticism of it was basically impossible to find anywhere. The best thing it did was help create the slightly above average atmosphere in a few derivative video games (i.e. Fear & Hunger; the sequel is better in every way including the atmosphere since it was no longer inspired by Midserk).
