man even though I really enjoyed the series overall, the ending just fell really flat for me. So many asspulls. Like what the fuck was the point of yuji's domain expansion? The entire point of the culling game was nebulous and retarded from the outset and never culminated in anything, was it even necessary? Anyway, everything from the start to the shibuya incident was kino core at least. Will definitely have to check out the anime sometime. How did /a/ react to the ending? I'm gonna take a break and read a new series now, but is modulo good?

Culling game to the end is not up to par barring a few cool moments, and you can tell that Gege's art sometimes just goes to complete shit with really ugly character art as it feels like he's rushing to meet the deadline.Go read Modulo, you might like it. It's very beautiful to look at, although you might get the same asspull type feeling for the end, but I think most people ended up liking it.

Now that it is actually finished the impression I get is that way more people ended up liking it rather than disliking it, of course it still has detractors, but the Modulo's reputation seems mostly positive. A lot more than the main series' finale.
