My fucking god, just let me watch rakugo for a minute. Comment on the performance later. I know this is a typical shounen thing, but it's getting really obnoxious here. Rakugo is all about the performance, and yet they don't even let me watch the performance without constantly interrupting it.

I don't like Akane's VA. Well, I like her, but only when she's not performing Rakugo. When she's on the stage, she doesn't sell me the story at all. She's kinda crappy at playing multiple characters, which is weird because Anna Nagase has a decent range. She's also playing pic related in this season, for example. I wonder if this is intentional, to make her progress more palpable as the story goes on. I didn't have a problem with Kyoji in this episode in that sense. The three characters he played all have different inflections, and just by their tone alone he conveyed a lot about their personalities.
