The story constantly reminds us about Sakura's Mom and getting groomed by her and portrays that like it's wholesome, cute, and romantic instead of being obviously predatory and evil. It was jarring, it honestly made it difficult for me to keep watching past episode 17, which fucking sucks, because literally everything else would easily make this series a 9/10 if it weren't for that. I commend Studio Pierrot for changing Rika and Takada's relationship into just a puppy crush from Rika, but fuck man, this bullshit isn't doing the fight for LGBTQ rights any favors.
