NTA but I do think it's a fair point, most yuri works are just straightforward romances where the characters are laser focused on how they feel and we get very little introspection about how they feel about being homosexual, though I am not trying to argue yuri works need to this at all, it's obviously a conscious choice from the author, she has so many pages to write after all, that said it's definitely weird YH had a whole manga on the taisho era and there was zero thought about this. Amayo is a weird case where all introspection is purely a result from paranoia, Saki never got any hostility from her schoolmates or even her mother, hell even in this chapter everyone seemed to be even cheering for her, while on Kanon's side her sister and best friend all support a relationship with Saki.
