Each uma has her own full story mode you play through and each uma as far as can be seen has a different first person torena character you play as, and while the quality is highly variable, when a story hits it REALLY hits. There are people who like to rave about how intimate and romantic feeling a story is and while I'm into that myself, IMO the best ones are the ones that really tell a great racing career story with great dramatic beats and catharsis. Honestly a lot of these individual uma career stories are the only way that a lot of umas would ever get a proper story focusing on them and I'm glad they exist
