Am I right in assuming this is the climax of the series and it's ending soon? It's been super fun to read and the Bone Crisis arc is great.

They could resolve the meta plot about the evil witch queen, and keep going on until the characters graduate high school after three more real-world years. I think the author did a recent author comment about trying to talk his daughter out of getting a dog, so there could be a whole stooy arc about Nico getting a pet.
