In that scenario, either he would win because of stakes or Ceodric would be winning but he'd notice Julian is distracted and would lose the will to fight him. Now that it doesn't seem to be going in that direction (still could) I wonder, I don't expect them to just become buddies without horrible suffering sprinkled on top.

Since this is obviously building up to a very major arc with like 4 factions vying for different objectives, how many character-focused chapters do you guys think we have left? We got as far as I remember Helem & Elstri, Altus and the maid, Ceodric, Lalawag, Diana, Lukas, would the reveal of Lacrima being a spy also counts? Ironically, I feel like Julian hasn't got a chapter about him in a while but I don't know if we could get something new about him
