>>287730966Basically the anime added a whole heap of backstory to Lisanna's relationship with Natsu as a child, making her out to be some super important figure in his past and had future plans for her, but around the time those episodes were airing Mashima revealed in the manga she was never actually dead, she got transported to an alternative world a few years earlier that Natsu and co got sent to, and she didn't even really try get back to her own world out of fear of hurting the guild in the parallel world, essentially content to just live out her life away from Natsu and her real guild. From that point onwards she has zero plot relevance whatsoever, she's really just one of the background guild members.
