I like both Yuu and Umi. I feel like the usual route here would have been to make Yuu some kind of mean girl bitch and that is what I came in expecting but she is in most ways sweeter than Umi, yet rather overbearing and not really aware of how she affects the people around her. Her confronting Umi about not telling her she is hanging out with Maki is an example of that. Even as best friends Umi does not owe her an explanation beyond what Yuu herself could infer from it and the "aren't we best friends?" really puts her on the spot, and not in private either but in front of Maki. On the other hand, it can be reasonably said that Umi's problems with her friend group are of her own creation and due to her own weakness as presumably she is about to admit.

As far as romance goes, I'm enjoying Replica, Otagal and Ponsuka way more than this show.
