For example the fight in the 2nd chapter is massively redundant, it should've either be skipped or at least lead to a different result (Ouga running to save the kid). Action and survival stories thrive when there's a continously push and pull between the MC and whatever he's confronting, with a big plus if the challenges that he faces are varied in nature.
