You’ve got the "stoic guy" and the "jokey guy," rinse and repeat. There isn't exactly a lot of variety to choose from.

Black clover and Naruto are not close in story. All fiction can seem like it's borrowing ideas but isn't that where ideas come from? Previous experiences? Quit being stupid. Black clover doesn't surpass Naruto's impact but it's definitely a good shonen. Could be deeper (like Naruto) but I don't think that's the authors intention.

Think Re:Zero + Higurashi, but with stand-like mechanics layered in. I believe the author was Araki's assistant.

No Guns Life
Hardboiled cyberpunk with guns and something close to stand abilities.

The Book of Bantorra
Obscure 2-cour from the 2000s. Way heavier on worldsetting than most anime, with a weird, distinctive power system. The writing is intelligent, dry, and aiming for something slightly different. Kind of hard to get into, but one of my personal best.
