I do think my whole 'one of the main conflicts in Kaiten will be between the parts of Homura that want sustained contact with Madoka, and the rest of Homura' theory is probably true. We now have 2 different scenes of a Homura doing things with Madoka that original series Homura wouldn't have ever done. One of the Homura's will probably team up with Sayaka at one point. I just have no idea where the fuck the new girls and Walp fit into all of this. Especially since Lilac was shown fucking with Madoka in a earlier trailer. And we saw Kyubey with Selma at one point too...

My theory is that the new girls, including Cross Homura, are a part of Homura's creation, either intentionally or not. She grew so powerful her strongest emotions and ideas took their own forms. Cross Homura represents her love for Madoka and is closest to actual Homura because that's her strongest feeling, while Chouka (glasses chick) represents the side of her that wants to be a magical girl and protect those she loves in a pure way like the way she was when she first became a magical girl, which is why she has glasses. I dunno about the rest though, we haven't seen enough of them yet.

The dialogue is still pretty hard to stomach, especially because the fantastical metaphysical aspects of that franchise aren't rooted in actual reality, so it felt more awkward than say, the dialogue of Rebellion. While I love Rebellion I do miss the somewhat more grounded dialogue of the anime series, but Kaiten is going to take place in Homu's fake new world so I can't really expect the dialogue to not be weird. All the phrases in the latest trailer also indicates this will remain the case too. Still very hype but I do miss the vibes of the anime series ngl.

And the last piece of animation in the film (or I guess after the film since it's in the credits) saying 'yeah eventually Madoka and Homura will be happy together, it's just going to take awhile' is enough for me.
