Then she sees Biba and just collapses into this weak mess. It feels like a totally different character. Not someone shaped by long-term control or trauma, just a switch flipped for convenience. The writing is painfully weak. Where is the buildup? The foreshadowing? At least give her earlier flashbacks or something to support that shift.
