Why is romance so non-existent in anime and manga outside of romcoms?Everywhere else, everyone is completely platonic, or introduced already in a relationship. Or they get together during a timeskip. It doesn't have to be the focus of the story, but it feels like modern writers are afraid to show or even hint at characters falling in love gradually.
I don’t think you have ever readed a mango or watcheded a animes if that’s your conclusion
There are tens of thousands of anime and manga depicting the dramatic process of falling on love. The problem you're facing is they're typically aimed at women because men have convinced themselves feelings are gay and need to mask it behind the middling comedy of a romcom to make it more socially acceptable admitting they're into that shit.
>>287790511It's more that men and women have different ideas of romance. When men see the word "romance", they think of fighting dragons and stuff like that
>only watch shitty romcoms>gee why are there no romance shows?OP you need to shut your bitch ass up and educate yourself for once
>>287789961>romance>everyone is...platonicWhat is this new psyop by newfags/grifters where they pretend romance = having sex in an orgy like in American Pie?Go back 5 years and and romance was stuff for girls and chads having sex was considered the opposite and you wouldn't call it romantic.Look at Romeo and Juliet. It's a platonic romance.
