The more I look at the art the less I like it, which is probably pretty bad since "it looks pretty" seems to be the only thing the show has going for it. It feels strangely schizophrenic. The setting is pseudo medieval Europe and the adults like the wand shop owner or mc's mom have utterly boring, realistic designs, but all the lolis have anime hair like cotton candy with matching eye colors. Are they witches or mahou shoujo? The mangaka tried to give them more european proportions like longer limbs and noses, but the overall headshape is still chinky and egglike with the v mouth and shit so they end up looking retarded. Lame monster designs. Sameface galore. That one brown redhead who shows up for 5 seconds in ep 3 looked like she came from a different show, American one.
