at this point we have to be honest. the 2nd half (Z) is just better. The early dragonball is really just a transitional work, between the early Dr. Slump style and his later Z style.

I never case about dragonball but I just wanted to ask, what was the people reaction when vegeta stole bulma from yamcha? It's very rare for an established couple to get broken up and the man got outright cucked like that.

King Piccolo arc wasn't that good in hindsight.
It started this dumb trend of everyone just buying time until Goku arrives and has one of the most underwhelming and unearned asspull power up in the series.
Though it's pretty amusing to think that the Sacred Water was nothing but regular poison and Goku surviving it retroactively works as a zenkai boost even though Toriyama probably never made that connection in his head.

All in all I agree with all these mangas that simply ended and the author never sold the rights to the devil to ruin his work the way Toriyama did.
