>>287799098What I would pay to be a fly on the wall during the meetings between ONE/Murata or the two with the editors. A handful of redrawn chapters would have been understandable if ONE considers the manga the definitive version and Murata is a bit of a perfectionist, but scrapping nearly an entire year of serialization with plot points that went nowhere to go back to adapting the webcomic just doesn't make sense. ONE or the editor would've put a lid on that.God and Blast shouldn't have been mentioned or appeared that much before the Neo Heroes arc, now that arc feels like filler if you just read the manga (this isn't helped by the fact that if you were reading the official, non tank releases you jumped from the ninja shit to Amai Mask abruptly).Still can't deny Murata has a gift, some of the martial arts oriented fights reminded of the best arcs of Dragon Ball like Tao Pai Pai or Red Ribbon, he just needs someone to tard wrangle him for the big story and emotional beats.I think the manga is still salvageable but only the tankobon releases are readable, ONE is obviously still involved because of current WC plot points being foreshadowed in the manga but the degree of that involvement is up for debate. People shat on the tournament arc but I think it served as a much better introduction to Suiryu than the WC, it was terrible at the time because of the pacing however. We'll see what happens with end of Neo Heroes.Also Manako/Oculette is the best addition from the manga and I wanted her in the WC.

Once the Neo Heroes arc concludes the fallout is gonna be pretty massive>remnants of NEO and Hero Association forming a new Hero Association with major reforms to how they actually handle shit>Genos possibly turning to Bofoi or Child Emperor for more upgrades/maintenance>whatever's gonna happen with the Sweet Mask/Webigaza/Ryumon demi-monster team
