Why do all of these new people waking up just agree to go along with whatever shit Senku cooked up with a smile? They are basically waking up to the life of a shit covered slave.
Kino
POV: She sees your cock
>>287804237If Senku & co. have actually been smart and they've kept the revival fluid secret to themselves they can just tell people "we can't revive your wife/child/etc. until we've rebuilt everything so help us"
>>287804237>"Good morning, gentlemen! The world ended three thousand years ago, but we have an extensive faction working to restore the modern world. If you help us out we'll help you out in turn to survive this new world, and before you know it all those modern conveniences we enjoyed so much will return again. So whaddya say?"

This arc has done an awful job portraying the sense of urgency of the situation
Actually surprising
WTF?
>>287804768Thank Inagaki for that. The last arc was rushed as shit because he got burned writing Eyeshield 21 and so vowed not to let future serializations run longer than 5 years. So Dr. Stone had to be rushed to hit that 5-year anniversary mark at the ending.
>stealing project materialsBASED!
>>287804812Death is the result from cellular damage. Depetrification repairs cellular damage. That's how they initially healed Tsukasa; Senku killed him by freezing him, then the Medusa's petrification repaired all the damage, bringing him back.
>>287804812I feel like we already knew this
>>287804913>>287804935I knew it could heal terminal conditions, but not actually revive dead people
>>287804956It depends on how dead they actually are. You're not bringing a skeleton back to life, but a person recently killed from gunshot wounds is A-OK.
>>287804935We did, it was confirmed after Hyoga was revived last cour.
>>287804862>tfw I will never be able to tell Suika how amazing she is for surviving in the stone world by herself and making deptrification fluid from scratch>I will never get to see her blush from my compliments>I will never get to spend years learning math with her every single night for hours on endWhy even live bros?

>>287804593IS THAT A RAM ? GET HER
>>287807054Im angry that Senku has such well defined muscles. Sure, they arent big but he acts like a delicate princess who would lose to a girl
>>287807702This is just a hypothetical they are visualizing, but also Senku does astronaut training before they go to space, so it may be showing him as buffer than he normally is for that reason.

>>287804835>>287804862attaboy Chrome
Another day another hohaku sex shot, but now with more Yuzuriha which we need more of that desu. I like the fact that Chrome is going to fight that back, the series usually rewards Chrome for trying and he has shown multiple times to be even smarter than Senku, so I'm looking foward to see what he doesAlso can someone vibe check Ryusuii? This is the type of shit Tsukaza was complaining about. Maybe rewrite the story to make Ryusuii and Francois villains to show the complete opposite and then have them turn good; sure, Tsukasa wanted to keep humanity in the stone age, but maybe expose Ryusuii as the type of person who led society into this mess. idk maybe im just pissed that bro is becoming too jewish for my taste
flanderization killed thisdunno if it's because the author couldn't come up with more characterization that he rushed the end, or if he just wanted to get done with this and rushed the end and flanderized the characters
>>287803702Sexmaxxing with this baddie.
>>287808484What are the characters supposed to do now that they have no worries other than speedrunning the rocket building? I don't really see any major difference here. Also I guess the author could have just come up with more and more new villains but in my opinion that would have been lame but sure, this would entirely depend on the author writing skills, so I say he couldn't come up with something else without interfering with the already established progress.
>>287803920Joel is so based holy shit
>>287808484>>287808970Rushing mangaka aside, Senku already won the planet after they cleared Treasure Island and after that we got a "but wait! there's more!" with Xeno's group that just happened to be there. Now I just want to see them fly to the moon and get this over with, the show had a good run.
>>287804237From their perspective, Senku lucked out and got depetrified by fate, and is their only hope to not get petrified again. Mining for some rocks for a few weeks until he leaves sounds perfectly fine. There are people right now digging trenches and fighting wars, compared to that, this is nothing.
>>287807390You would still need a DDR4 controller before you can connect it to your motherboard. And even then, I'm not sure modern CPUs could handle the abysmal read/write rate of core memory. You'd be lucky if you hit a kilohertz.
>>287809442I would be against it initially, but after learning there's no 4chan and games, I'd be well, put me next to Yuzuriha and Joel and I'll help with their fine crafts.
>>287809666An imageboard is not particularly high technology

>>287809786What's the word size you think? 10 bits?
I like this show a lot, but does anyone else ever get tired of the fact that a quarter of each episode is just character repeating some variant of "Science is amazing" over and over? We get it already.
>>287809903Just like in the manga
>>287809903This is one of my favorite manga/anime, and yes it does get rather tiresome. But IMO it is more tiresome in the anime because you are at the pacing whims of the video, whereas in a manga you can either admire the cool art for a specific "kagaku wa sugoiii" moment, or just speedread through that page in 2 seconds.
>>287804612I don't see why not, paying for food is a scam, also I could go into spoilers but there's really nothing to pay for in Senku society.

>>287811324i wonder if every new village gets "a brief history since Senku woke up" and they all decide it's pointless to even try to resist. The whole crew is made up of literal monsters and super geniuses.

>>2878112747 episodes left after this one, then maybe another movie if they wanna do the epiloguethat'll be it unless they wanna do the side story with the rei drone
>>287811422you'd have to have someone like senku or xeno get revived who is ambitious enough to try it. it honestly would make a good arc having one of the cities go rogue. most of them probably just figure it's best to do what they say so they for the hope they can get back to their 21st century lifestyles.
>>287811541question is what reason would they even have to go rogue, everyone's working toward a common goal of, y'know, not getting petrified againwhat reason would they have to rebel against that, and even once the moon mission's done, what reason would they have to go against everyone else?
>>287811577>and even once the moon mission's done, what reason would they have to go against everyone elseopen a history book on a random page and see how long it takes you to find a reason actual people went to war for
>>287811577If some fucking nerd ass bitch japanese kid told you he wanted to build a rocket ship in a deep post apocalyptic world, and your job is to do backbreaking slave labor for months or years, would you even believe that's his main goal regardless of how much cool shit he's built? The difference between a boat and rocket is the difference between climbing a hill and scaling Everest. It's one of the hardest things science has ever done before the invention of the home computer.
>>287811508But the drone stuff is not cannon so idk if they'll touch that
>>287811763The first thing they did when arriving in Spain was cook them food and pay them, and it's implied they did the same in India, why would you care if you're getting well paid and well fed?
>>287812820There is a reason why its illegal pay workers in company scrip. Check what happened to the old logging operations for your answer to that.
>>287813322Is it company scrip when you're the defacto world government? Besides, they got paid with metal coins made of rare alloys, so the coins do have intrinsic value
>>287804237Why did you just woke up and agree to go along with this society?
>>287812090It would make a great 30 minute OVA.
>>287813357>>287813401You're just some fucking guy, how do you know anything they are telling you is real? The money could be fake, and you would have no way to verify it. >>287804272She's so cute holy shit
>>287811577>question is what reason would they even have to go rogue,What do I do when I don't like corn but Senku revives me and expects me to eat corn everyday in Corn City? I think I would become the first stone world terrorist if I had to live in that nightmare.
>>287813720True
>>287813743They really shouldn't have skip this part, forget conquerors, these are your new gods.
>>287803702
Now that was a little bit disappointing, I would have really liked to see an Australia arc...
I would think that doing this by hand would inevitably result in mistakesA single accidental bit flip could lead to catastrophic failure when you're trying to shoot a rocket from a moving platform to a moving target 238,855 miles away
>>287814310well if you're curious, research the mathematicians involved in the IRL space program
They get it all from Russia and Iran though
When did they teach Magma about Arabic numeralsHow does he even understand what multiplication and division are
>>287814310If you flip a bit it's always flipped, you can test every part of the computer beforehand to ensure its calculations match expected values.
>>287814310That's what I thought too, especially when Magma and Yo started crapping the parts out to win the prize
>>287814436Just like Senku tested the meds he gave Ruri with full clinical trials and double blind tests
>>287814438i thought they were holding hands
Oh no no no no no no no no
>>287814310And this is why this is called a story, you have to assume things go well unitl the contrary is stated, but if you want a better answer than that, obviously they are testing shit before integrating it to the main computer, is not like 1 single machine being made but many put together.
Fuck off we're full
>>287814428Magma and everyone from the village have basic knowledge of this sutff from the 100 tales, is like that time they made a boat competiton and Magma pulled a pretty nice design, plus they are always giving classes to everyone you just don't see it on screen.>inb4 I'm talking with Yo
How does the medusa work, if a Post Op tranny is turned to stone are they healed back to their dead gender or what they currently identify as? Does their hog grow back or is that sausage gone
Does dropping out of med school after a year really make you good at crafting computer donuts?
I was wondering about this
>>287814656>pretending to be retarded
>>287813494if nothing else i have seen absolutely ZERO lewds of rei 01 and we need people to get on that stat >>287811508
>>287813509plato's cave, manare you doing well with the cards you've been dealt? what'd be making you unhappy?
>>287814310i feel like senku would have enough foresight to throw in some rudimentary error correction, especially considering the havoc cosmic rays can play with computer memory anyway
>>287814660Luna is given way too much leeway by the author to keep up with everyone else because she has a hot character design. Most of the cast consists of superhuman high schoolers who are autistically the best at their one thing. Luna is just...a former med student. Obviously it's played as a joke to some extent with the "I am capable!!" catchphrase but this scene was weird because she in fact was seemingly very capable, and on the same tier as Joel (who is a master craftsman, literally best in the world) and Yuzuriha, who is repeatedly shown to be extremely fast at anything involving crafts. It doesn't really make sense when you base it on prior feats. I know power levels and feats are not at all a focus on the show and it's just a fun communal crafting scene, but I am often bothered by Luna because she doesn't really feel like she fits into the story. She is not in fact "proper" and she totally fucked up by throwing all of the revival fluid bottles and condemning Suika to 5 years of grueling solitude.
>>287814690Well it isn't made clear how the medusa healing properties work. If someone was locked into stone while going under HRT does the medusa restore what was previously there or morph the person into their new gender. Like can we assume if it has healing properties it can also cure mental illness? So what if the medusa turned Post Op trannies into stone but when they are revived they are cured of their mental illness but are trapped in the body they previously wanted.
>>287811763Yeah I mean there's not really any difference between a rocket ship and a ballistic missile, how do I know he's not just some crazy dictator with immortality, weapons of mass destruction, and the cooperation of the world's banking elite?
>>287814461they were in a hurry with that one, it was implied she literally had only days left to live without treatment by the time they finished
>>287815046They're in a hurry this time too
>>287814539let em in ya spiderfucking cunts, they're trying to save the world
>>287815076Yeah right, they literally just came from India#stoptheboats
>>287814428Outside what >>287814597 said, he literally had a calculator, if you have the question, it's a matter of copying and pasting it. He was even shown struggling to match the symbols to the keys, and took a while to read the answer. I'm not even particularly fast at using one and it took me 30.92 secs to input it, then 4.59 to read the first 10 digits aloud
>>287814817it's implied the medusa can rejuvenate cells but not create new ones, that's why theyve been very careful about making sure the statues are fully intact before reviving, like when ryusui almost had to call off reviving taiju underwater in s3 before soyuz found his broken-off arm and reattached itthere's no indication that depetrification has mutagenic properties though, on the contrary i think senku even said that the process of rejuvenation likely comes from restoring the original DNA
I haven't read the manga, but I don't see how they can wrap up the plot in this final cour. It feels like it's going to have to be rushed, no idea how the manga handled it.
>>287814812she DID perform life-saving surgery on senku when he got shot by stanley, remember, so she obviously had to have SOME surgical expertise to pull that offshe's also clearly been designated the kingdom medic, so i imagine they trust her enough with delicate work for that role
>Other than Sai, we didnt get a new character for the new cities>No Brazilian, Spanish, Indian or Australian new characterFor me, this is the biggest bummer. Imagine having a Brazilian football player in the power team, a Spanish waifu being Francoise sou chef, or an Australian expert in weird animals.
>>287815060different kind of hurry, the whyman threat is more "he could do it at any time, so we need to get up there asap" but with more uncertainty and across a greater timescaleruri was to the point where senku all but said after the grand bout, "if she isn't treated in the next few days, she WILL die". it was far more immediate
>>287814981lbr, up against a hand like that, you're fucked anyway
>>287815120See its not as obvious as the previous poster made it out to be. It's quite possible to have the nightmare scenario of having scars to be healed and any grafted skin appendages to be new functioning parts and having mental illness cured.
>>287804835>fuck your suicidal mission I'm going for the happy endBest boy.
>>287815122as someone who read the manga, the solution was satisfying imoit's not some great explosive final battle like you might expect (we do get some pretty fuckin' awesome visuals though) but it answers the mystery in an interesting and believable way and wraps up the loose ends well, the overall mood of the cast is even "oh aight, that makes sense"i don't wanna sell it short as anticlimactic or anything, it's actually pretty hype what the answer presents to us, but even if you believe the final arc was rushed by outside factors like many do, they stuck the landing well enough that i felt comfortable walking away without feeling ripped off, and id been burned by terrible anime endings before (yugioh arcv, jormungand, oshi no ko) so i know what it's like to walk away unfulfilledalso the epilogue "4d science" they published a few years later was an excellent capper, though that's not gonna be in the main show, prolly gonna be its own special like ryusui if the anime covers it at all
>>287814812>I am often bothered by Luna because she doesn't really feel like she fits into the storyThat's the joke. She's only useful in that one scene, that's what makes it weirdly ooc. Otherwise she's a waste of space and terminally cucked, even in the new op she's sulking.>She is not in fact "proper" and she totally fucked up by throwing all of the revival fluid bottlesOne (1) bottle, Suika dropped and ruined like 5 when she was running away from Stanley, also she totally fucked up first by helping the female soldier.>>287815160Senku was telling her what to do the whole time.
>>287815264scars healing is one thing, giving a function to tissue that never had such function before it not something depetrification is ever seen doingmental illness, maybe. some viewers have theorized thats why some petrified characters managed to remain conscious for ages without losing their marbles
>ZAMN!? SHE'S 14!?
>>287815432I'll be honest, I was going off of memory from when I read the manga and I misinterpreted this panel. In that case it's not really her fault. Suika "fucked up" by helping another human being who was dying, that's not really fair considering the themes of the story that everyone will be saved.
>>287815432but she had the dexterity to pull it off regardless of him telling her, so clearly she has steady enough handslike dont get me wrong luna does feel pretty extraneous for the most part, but i dont mind her presence either. i like one person's theory that she was only created because boichi realized ginro looked good as a trap in the treasure island arc and wanted to reuse that design for an actual character, and luna is pretty much a dead ringer for that. she was even blonde in the og manga
>>287815493shes 19
>>287814461what they made is RAMtesting it would be quicker than building the thing.flip bit, read it, flip bit again, read it, you should have gotten a 1 and a 0 if it's working. and just do that for each bit. if they set up a simple program they could even automate the memory check.it's ROM like core rope memory where you don't want to make the mistakes because trouble shooting is a real bitch. you have to weave wires through the magnets to set the memory, you make a mistake and you have to reweave the thing again. and they're going to do rope core memory without a doubt since the apollo mission used it for their guidance computers. it's good they have a girl who can weave anything in a second though.
>>287815391I see, thanks. I'll probably just read the epilogue after if they don't announce that it's going to be animated soon after the ending.
All they have to do is have people take shifts hanging out under some revival fluid, like they did with Suika.Have them trained on what do to in case of a global stoning, and then they get to hang out and read, or even just sleep in there for a few hours at a time. Easy job, easy solution.
>>287815162With such a setting the possibilities would be literally unlimited, author would have need to pull a One Piecex100 and in my opinion, while a little bit disappointing, is better the way we got it.
>>287815107>You should be able to solve this.
>>287815162what the hell does any of that have to do with building a rocket ship? Go write fanfiction
>>287809903That was one of the main complaints of the last arc for manga readers, it seemed like there was no real resistance or challenge left, so the exponential curve of improvement was super drastic after every chapter starting in India. That said, the science is just the backseat theme for overall what is a story about optimism, believing that humanity will work together as individuals to create flourishing. In that regard, it's probably one of the best to do it.
>>287816392design a revival fluid hat that goes off after 24 hours if its timer isn't reset.
>>287814812I like it, because people tend to complain that in Dr.Stone everyone is a super talented whatever, so finally we got a realistic person that has some knowledge, but isn't an expert, and thus tries twice as hard to keep up with the monsters
