Years ago I made the decision to watch the anime as it aired in Japan instead of reading the manga, and I stuck to my guns and all was well and fun especially during Stardust and Diamond, but when I got to Stone Ocean the magic was completely gone. Every episode feels as shitty as that episode in Stardust where the dude's stand is his car and his one arm is massive. The stupid fucking exposition on "ohh, he disassembles stuff! Look out for him, weird plankton thing inside a woman's body!" I dont understand F.F.s emotions honestly. And not for once second do I forget its just a billion little life forms and essentially there's a billion ways to write F.F. not dying. This suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks but I gotta watch it to get to the next Jojo which you guys told me a gorillian years ago was the best.

That doesn't scream "genuine" which only shows the Timidness on the author's part since he can't commit fully 100% to the bit and make it actually interesting/threatening. Chainsaw man has the opposite problem where the author where the author takes himself too seriously and has quick cheap deaths (like in western media) to create the feeling of danger. Anyway there's a reason why JoJo did it best and no one came close to that level.
