>>287838146It was a 7 out of 10 the first watch through but rewatching it after finishing the 1971 show, it’s honestly an 8 or 9. Most fun I’ve had with a goofy anime in a while. Genuinely cool finally with batman and great ost, Tojima is a fun character but I hope he gets a bit more focus season 2. It’s interesting how he’s only made some allusions to Ichimonji but mostly talks about Hongo. He did Ichimonji’s pose in his flashback so that was cool. I haven’t read the manga, but I’m excited to see how cute they make the wasp woman.

I would say 7.5-8/10, was a fun show and only some of the references were lost on me. The OST was good too, the EP and fight music especially. I hope it gets a second season.

It makes sense to me honestly why Tackle is so smug. She's been preparing for this for her entire life, and as we can see she's got good reason to believe that she can do this. Any normal person, or even a combatant, is no match for her. Its only monsters where she falls short, and frankly even Tojima can't take a monster in a direct fight without backup most of the time so its not like thats even much of a failing.
