Do you like sad anime?
>>287844203But this movie wasn't sad. At some point, the children leave home.
>>287844203If it's well written, maybe. If it's written by Mari Okada, no.
>>287844344It's bittersweet, like kimi no na wa
Go fuck yourself.
>>287844610Kimi no Na Wa wasn’t bittersweet, it just blueballed you for 90 minutes and then hit the reset button so nobody had to actually suffer.Wolf Children actually commits to the passage of time. Kids grow up, mom ends up alone, life moves on. That’s not “sad,” that’s just adulthood. Way heavier than body-swap comet slop.
No I only consume happy content so I can be happy happy smile no bad feelings for me they hurt me only happy thoughts are good thoughts
>>287844203Love sad anime and manga, your image is unrelated.
>>287844203If they're good. I'm usually not in the mood, but some of my favorites are sad. Gotta space them out.
>>287844203I despise them. Having sad moments is fine, but if the entire point of the story is to make me feel depressed, then why bother?
I watch anime to escape from the depressing real world. I do run into some sad plotlines occasionally but I don't seek out sad anime.
>>287844203Yeah, but I got like 10 minutes into the movie and dropped it at the furry sex scene.
