I think Gege is realistic as a writer. He does give measure of bitterness and happiness to all his cast, not always equal, but he does have things improved. It's not flawlessly perfect because that would feel cheap.Yuta and Maki seemed very happy to Yuka and Tsurugi, even with Iori's disappearance (as an adult), they supported and comforted their daughter in law who never felt like an outsider, and doted their grandkids. Their grandkids are so full of love that's understated but it shows they never felt Iori's loss because of their grandparents. It's this love that reached Maru and Cross to be neightbours and this broke the cycle of curses (which is, if you read between the lines, negativity, bad karma, of humanity). Fightan' couldn't do shit, it's just love and bonding that does.That's why Yuji, Yuta, Dabura, and other characters have coded in their beings the essence to fight is to be with others or protect others. Like that whole Yutajo thing, that was more likely him just wanting to showcase hypothetical scenario where you stack in so many CTs from using Yuta's CT to use Kenjaku's CT to use Gojo's CT and Six Eyes. It should be obvious that this wouldn't actually be the thing to finish off Sukuna and it would be Yuji to do it but so many were quick to interpret it as Gege wanting to shit on Gojo and/or wanting to make Yuta the greatest.
