Kapitel 10: Prince on a White Steed
>>287848327I LOVE NINA
to be continued...
>>287849434Thanks OP
I'm excited to finally finish up Monster. I started reading it years ago, but never finished it. I really love Urasawa's visual style and storytelling. I'm also interested in reading Master Keaton and Yawara!. How are they?
>>287849434Thanks OP. It's nice to read this again after so long.
>>287849434Thanks OP!
>>287848189Well, time to finally read this series. The anime was great.
>>287848593 So her and the bad guy re like 20? I have always assumed he was around 30. I guess making him younger yet so manipulative adds up to the feeling that he is an alien
>>287848954 Do you think his internal monologue is in Japanese or in German?
>>287854237Probably German, even if he has someone else he can regularly speak Japanese with.
>>287849434Thank you for posting.
>>287849281Damn didn't see that coming
Bump.
Johan did nothing wrong
>>287858037
Bumpster
>>287849407come back to me
>>287849434Thanks, OP.Nina sex.
>>287849407>>287849434Aura
>>287854237I assume german, since he has been living there for over a decade.I'm german, but most of the time I hear and read english due to mostly being on the internet, thus my internal monologue has become mostly english
Tenma and the twins are like the only attractive people in this entire universe.
>>287849407thanks OP!I'm surprised he didn't get redrawn here, the bangs are definitely different.
>>287861141>thus my internal monologue has become mostly englishFascinating. Do you ever feel like your internal monologue being in English has diminished your ability to communicate in German? Given how similar the two languages are it's probably not much of an issue but: do you ever find yourself using English words/pronunciations when writing/speaking in German?
>>287849407>>287849434ThanksWere all the murder case happened because they adopted her?
>>287848197
>>287848294slay queen
>>287848327cutie patootie
>>287848345>fell for the aikido memenina nooooo
>>287848389what did urasawa mean by this character design?
>>287848465I really need to read more Urasawa SoL. He can make things comfy when he wants to.
>>287848514mouse loli
>>287853962superior aryan genes, anon
These chapters before tenma becomes a fugitive are nicer than I remember. I like the atmosphere.
>>287854237Maybe a mix. Mine sometimes switches from spanish to english and vice versa
>>287849084I thought people in the 90s were supposed to be conscious of web security
>>287849281spooky
>>287849407such a smug motherfucker
>>287849022>blusheswtf
>>287864748Well, most the of the whites in this manga have stereotypical big noses, so I guess the author wants to make some jabs at his own race, too.
>>287862066I would sex Eva any day.>>287864763I think his current series is SoL?
>>287863034Actually speaking of redraws but only tangentially related: if there ever was a 20th Century daily, which version should be used? Since the ending is different.
>>287858133How much didn't he do wrong?
>>287848189This is supposed to be a seinen but this honestly feels very juvenile.
I dont get the hate, seems like a simple mystery story
>>287863116>Do you ever feel like your internal monologue being in English has diminished your ability to communicate in German?NTA but my mother tongue is Spanish and yeah, you surround yourself with English media and its lexicon that it becomes kinda hard to have a conversation in your native language without stumbling over your choice of words and idioms, it can get really frustrating if the other person isn't bilingual and can't parse over what you're trying to say
>>287870072The average nu-/a/ user is too shonenbrained to stomach anything without action in it.
>>287870072It's fairly well regarded, so it's measured against a high standard
Kapitel 11: Missing Person Article
Kapitel 12: Birthday of Terror
>>287871436I LOVE NINANNA.
>>287871657Tenma is an invasive asshole, goddamn.

>>287871076That doesn't sound fair
>>287873731Few things are.
>>287871635 I like this duo. They call each other out on their bull shit but still respect eachother.
>>287871587Damn I miss German food.
>>287872334Thanks, OP.
>>287874248...why
>>287871635Throw him an apple
>>287848885
>>287849434ack..
>>287871979Good catch there Maurer>>287872092>>287872066Damn it hopefully Maurer doesn't die he's so nice.
>>287848327instant waifu material
>>287853962uncanny valley, a young man being as manipulative as an old one is disturbing. same logic behind the creepy kid so common in horror films
>>287864748i've always found it fascinating that the japanese draw their unlikeable nerds like an american war poster. either they copied our racist stereotype, we copied theirs, or we both came up with the same one independently. weirdly the third option seems most likely
>>287871279literally me
>>287871261Maurer is literally me
>>287871792licky leg
>>287872311>Aiiee
>>287872245>>287872273holy fvark
>>287863116I never accidently use english words or something like that while talking/writing in german, but I do have noticed that I often forget rarely used german words. I do know them, it's just that since I speak german so rarely, that I simply don't remember them in the moment.Same thing happens with older people who don't go out much anymore and live alone.Pronunciations are not a problem though, since I don't actually speak english to anyone, only listen/read/write. I actually wish I could speak to someone in english so I could improve my english pronunciation skills.
>>287871690That's really creepy, I've got to say
>>287872066Uh oh, I guess he's dead with the parents here
>>287872334Thanks OP

>>287848345>>287882531Fucking kekCouldn't she at least learn judo or something? Why this bullshit martial art?
>>287871868>I covered the crime scene in Cologne myself.I forgot Cologne was a city and was confused for a second.
>>287882547>>287882949Aikido is legit it's just grifters using shills that give it a bad name
>>287876849It's good. And I say this as an Italian. I've always eaten well in Germany. Maybe I've just been lucky.
These chapters are where the story really hooks you imo.
>>287885678I was already hooked during the opening hospital arc, that premise alone felt unique enough to keep watching,
