>>287885283Well yeah, but there's a difference between the characters meeting people who deal with time shenanigans (or sometimes just dipping their feet in in like in the Great Well of Heaven chapter), while still remaining firmly in one space-time continuum, and the characters now crossing timelines and figuratively dumping the original world behind.I understand we're not watching Rick&Morty and it's a kind of "don't ask, don't tell, it all works out" deal, but still... I'd rather not have the plot going in this direction. Well now we're in it and I'll stick around until the end, I still like the manga, I just hope it's not going to get even more timey-wimey than it already is.

He was also the one to confer the hereditary courtesy title (kebane) of Mahito on members of the imperial clan. Mahito is the Japanese reading of Zhenren (lit. True Person, but usually translated as Perfect Person), a Chinese word referring to a sage that attained harmony with the Tao.Even the Nihon Shoki itself shows some taoist influences. It opens with a description of Heaven and Earth arising from the void, and then three deities appear. One is the deification of the north star, while the other two are the embodiments of the yin and yang principles.

The event happening in 670 is pretty much what happens in Azuma-no-Miya's flashback chapter 21.5. The war is also no doubt the one that caused alternate timeline Miyo's death
