Teppu
>>287886883>Japanese genetic peak evil lass vs midget brazilian japanese girl that just loves punching shit.It was a pretty fun series.
I have this picture saved. Solid series if you like girls and fighting. That karate gravure idol manga is good too, Doll-Kara is trash.
>>287887998>That karate gravure idol manganame?
>>287887998Anyone remembers a short manga about a short hamster-like girl being roped into a martial arts club because she wanted to gain power to avenger her friend being bullied? One of the fights was with a two-faced idol who got her face broken in as a result
>>287889998Oh, it's this. Somehow it didn't have "martial arts" category enabled.
>>287886883Paku Duna, my beloved
>>287886883Pac Du-Na has the most potential of all the girls, doesn't she?Natsuo needed to just put on another 10 lbs and accept she had to move up a weight class.
>>287886883It ended too soon.>>287891556ironically the cick that got kneed by Natsuo also had a lot of potential, she just got unlucky.Natsuo definitely need to put on some muscles
It's been years and there are still threads. I miss it too.
>>287892724>>287886883I'm convinced Teppuu is the only manga to do women's martial arts right. Hagure has impeccable fights but has that godawful JAV setting (not to mention the truly bleak shit), and the rest are usually shitty series capitalizing on waifu appeal at the expense of martial arts.>>287889998Hanakaku. It's shit though.>>287888056Hagure Idol Jugohuken.
>>287893437I think what made Teppu work so well is that they didn't go overboard on making the girls look magically cool or powerful. They obviously were all strong women that could probably kick my ass easily, but it stayed grounded in a general sense. Ringi beats up a man, but the fight was also revealed to be a fix for hype and the guy took a dive to help fund his personal gym. Natsuo fought a bunch of schoolboys and won, but came out looking like she got put through a meat grinder. None of the martial arts went above what a journeyman practicioner is capable of. No one smashed concrete out of anger or telefragged an opponent. The psychology was extreme, but the characters' actions felt grounded and their effort was relatable because of that. Like you know how it hurts to get punched and these characters were just normal humans that hurt just as much as you did.
