I think the problem for me is the characters, actually. I don't dislike the Amanchu cast, by any means, but Aria has a very strong and lovable lineup. The fact that we're 50 chapters in and we still haven't had a chapter focusing on Makoto, or grandma, is pretty bad. It's all the dotty/pikari/ane show, and occasionally sensei.
