Seems pretty clear to me now that this arc is fully meant to axe Jiji and aira going after momo and Okarun. I think Tatsu probably felt that if they were already dating and those two were trying/pining still it would make the characters worse. I still dont think this is executed well, Okraun needs to be as sassy as early chapters. The breaks also make this feel even longer than it already is.

He is achieving spinelessness levels I thought were impossible for vertebrates, and after he’s supposedly achieved so much character growth. Why is he not fighting for why he wants?
