I ignored this manga for years because seeing a few images I naturally assumed the small girl was the MC. And I was right about the archetypes but what a great choice by the author making Natsuo the MC though.

Natsuo is hyper aware of others and hates them for feeling things that she can't. Feeling the joy of hard-earned success or the joy of friendships with equals or the joy of family or other things. Yuzuko just isn't aware of others in the same way and lacks that envy of them for it. She isn't jealous of geniuses or those that are stronger than her or those who are popular or those with cute boyfriends/girlfriends she'll never have. But at the same time she isn't able to understand when she hurts others nor does she really have the capacity to feel bad if she did.
