Who had money on Boxxo turning into a car vending machine?
>>
INTERLINKED
Also this made me think of Damnation Alley by Roger Zelazny, it's a fun novel about a guy driving across a post-apocalypse US. Would recommend.

22 hours of driving per day, 28 days at 80kph is 50000km.
The earth's circumference is roughly 40000km.
why didn't they just turn around and drive the other way? The back wall of the stratum is probably the castle's rear entrance.

In general the strong point of this series is the "worldbuilding", quotation marks because I honestly don't know what that entails anymore, this series simply come up with pretty interesting scenarios and have the characters ADAPT to said escenarios and that makes it so much more entertaining and interesting.
>>
How long would a year long walk in a straight line be if you were driving? I guess realistically the amount of stopping and starting would make it hard to actually calculate in either case.
>>
How is this supposed to work, you don't know you've seen the last red stake unless you keep going
They should give everyone a different colour, or a number or something

>>

Not really, maybe kind of uneventfully but the progress was done well enough, I remember in previous threads people complaining that they could just all be friends on the spot already. A betrayal could still be around the corner though.
>>
>25 days
If they drove at 80 km/h for 12.5 hours a day that would be 1000 kilometres, so 25000 kilometres in 25 days
Lisbon, on the western end of Europe, to Omsukchan in eastern Siberia is under 15000 km according to Google Maps
If Hakkon really drove nonstop, other than a single two hour break each day, that would be 1760 kilometres a day or 44000 kilometres in 25 days
The circumference of the earth is about 40000 km
Didn't they say the other guy managed to clear this route (and back!) in a year?
>>
>it STILL wasn't enough for Pity
>>
>>287941005
I would assume they just put one once in a while, they could also engrave something on them but given the explanation it would seem kind of pointless, is not like many people tried or would try this anyways.
>>
>>287941396
No, that guy conquered the right path, they went to the other side that nobody completed.
>>
>Didn't they say the other guy managed to clear this route (and back!) in a year?
he had some kind of blessing of infinite stamina, and heroes are already superhuman by mundane standards. A forced march of 60km a day would hit 22000km per year, in addition to killing anyone before they could get that far.

It's very likely the side route was far shorter than the main route. Going 50000km twice in one year would require running 6 marathons every day.

People only walk a few km an hour and they need to stop to sleep. So to make the math slightly easier lets go with
Walking - 4km/h for 10 hours a day
Driving - 80km/h for 20 hours a day
So 20 times as fast for twice as long each day.
For every 1 day spent driving that's about 40 days spent walking.

>So, what's behind the door, Wario?
The distance is roughly equal to earth circumference.
My guess is on the other side is the entrance, but medals also unlock some side door or new feature in teleport chamber or something.
