It's kinda weird that Iruma poked his head out of the portal in a random back alley, but Merize was safely transported to a comfy bed in her bedroom. I admit, it is better to put her there rather than dump a double amnesiac girl whose body recently went through childbirth in the gutter. But it's still a weird plot hole.Overall, this arc might be the first one I dislike in the entire manga. It's spending so much time standing in one place, it's not any new development or an adventure, it's just a flashback about a bunch characters we've never seen before and a good chance that we won't see like 80% of them, like that female Blushenko doctor, ever again. Remember Iruma? Remember any Misfits? This arc sure doesn't. But it does remember to focus several chapters on a detailed depiction of Ameri's birth, and then a few more showing every bit of Henri crying over each step towards separating him and Merize.
