Why was anime so niche in the US until pokemon/dbz/sailormoon? Back when I used to live in Texas back in 1997 or maybe 1996. I used to watch Korean dub of anime. I was like 4 or 5 too. I don't remember them all but I do remember da garn. I might have watched first few episodes of nge too. I dunno. Now everyone claims they were watching fansubs and nge and in the 90s lol. I don't believe it. I wasnt even the only Korean in that mid sized Texas town that watched da garn in that time period either.
