The aliens too quickly became basically humans, able to communicate and interact with the world just like a person could. The whole plotline of the robots breaking down wasn't really important. Don't get me wrong, there were moments, but after about 3 episodes, it never really felt like the robots were the aging remnants of a dead civilizationThat being said, it was probably a top 5 anime of 2025, but I'd have to see a list
