why a lot of current remasters bad or faulty? the SS bluray along with Sailormoon is just an upscale of the 2000s dvd with some tiny (but not really) color adjustments, but still looks like ass.

It's not a remaster unless they start over from the original film and make a new master. It's in the name. Sounds like companies are misusing that term.

You gotta get used to that fact that 90% of titles will now only exist in garbage interlaced SD form (and often not even based on film master but badly captured from analog video source like LD, with combing artifacts an all that).I'm glad we got at least some big ones done well line DYRL and Angel's Egg.
