>>287958757I liked the humor. I thought the art style (especially the color palette) was gorgeous, reminiscent of Nichijou of course, but still unique in its own right. I loved the main characters and just how interconnected and alive the setting feels. I think the direction was incredibly, especially in episode 5. I'm very happy with what he got, but it leaves me wanting more. Not because I feel like it lacked anything, but because I loved it so much that I didn't want it to end.

The best case scenario now is that Arawi gets inspired to do a bunch more stories continuing beyond where it ended, and then an adaptation of that could bring in some more of the old stuff and kinda sneak it in ways that fit the new storylines.

The 3 mains are cute girls, but cgdct implies a concept they're focused around, usually a school club that's specific to some hobby or whatever, and they use that as the baseline of the cute things, but also branch off into other sol stuff. City is pure sol because there's no focus on a topic centering them, plus it's somewhat of an anthology because it covers stories from many characters, not just the girls, including male characters, who are consistently some of the best. CITY is great all around and you should watch it, but you should also watch cgdct because it's the best genre and it's not even close
