I found out about this series because I read on a forum that Hotori farted in a tub, so I watched the anime just for that scene, but it never happened. So unless it happened somewhere in the manga than screw that guy for lying to me

There's something I really love about the ending to the manga. In chapter 21, Hotori complains about her class not doing anything for the festival in her second year so she suggests writing a play the next year. Then we get multiple chapters of hints that Hotori is struggling to write the script at least 2 months before the festival. Famously she doesn't know how to end it but we also see in chapter 116 that just a few days after the festival, the music club asks her to write a script for them, so it must have gone really well. It's just the little things that make it so good.
