I always find it interesting to return to the big 3, 2 are "done" on various levels but they all are alive in their own ways. It would be more appropriate to revisit this question when One Piece is done, both the manga and anime. But still I want to discuss it now.>NarutoManga finished. Naruto Shippuden finished. Unlike Bleach which is dead dead, Naruto is still going on through Boruto. I personally liked the Naruto Shippuden ending, for the most part. But what Ive heard from Boruto sounds horrible, sounds bad. Not completely universe ruining, but ruining all the character's happy endings. But looking past that, the story offering seems to not be amazing. However Boruto is still doing well in manga sales and viewership, its making money, but it simply doesnt have cultural impact Naruto has.>BleachPretty good time to be a Bleach fan. While the manga ending was rushed, we got beautiful modern animation finally finishing the last arc. With Kubo over-sighting the entire thing, expanding scenes with new canon. Havent gone through the new yet but Im about to start it. Its quite a great way to finish off Bleach. But after this, its done. And before this there was a huge gap of no Bleach. We had the brief Burn The Witch is the same universe. But yeah, safe to say Bleach is done after the new anime finishes up in July. Sad, but I rather this then it become a shell like Naruto, with the next generation fucking up the ending.
>One PieceThe most culturally relevant by far. Manga still ongoing, anime still ongoing. Although what sucks about this one is there is no easy way to get into it. Your options are>One Piece (anime)Low quality animation for ~300 eps, TERRIBLE pacing, while Bleach had a high filler percentage, One Piece just stretched the eps with unbearable repetition. Way worse method.>MangaSucks to skip on the cool moments the anime does have to offer if you go with manga, and you will be stuck with a manga started in 1997. 1,180 chapters to catch up in. Good luck reading that. Or watch 1,130 episodes of the badly paced show. There is just no way to easily get into this one. Its a second job. I tapped out of the anime around ep 300 as a teenager, I forgot so much. For someone like me, there is no way to get back into it.One Piece seems to have won culturally. But personally, I think Bleach is the best. It has an actual ending, that isnt ruined with the next generation, you get greatly rewarded with the modern anime if you stick with it. But culturally its the weakest. We got a new Bleach video game a while back, but besides that its probably done, outside of some gacha apps.I wish I could judge One Piece more accurately but its so hard to get into.Who won?
>Naruto: boring>One Piece: gay>Bleach: gayNaruto wins by default
>>288005323Bleach.
>>288006175Gigi
>>288005323all shounenshit has only one good thing about them, and that is NTR porn
>>288005323One Piece is probably the most popular of the bunch, with a remake and a live-action series on their way. Plus, it hasn't fumbled the ending (yet)
>>288006248
>>288005323Bleach obviously.
>>288006195Does One Piece even have proper NTR porn? Luffy is too autistic to get cucked. At least wait until the series is over.
>>288006265I've noticed it's influence in the dragon ball threads, where they argue over which character is gay enough for Gigi.
>>288006265>mid influences more midthanks for nothing tits kubo
>>288005323Even if One Piece had the iconography of Naruto the anime is unwatchable.
>>288005323Bleach won. In almost every aspect. It's ending was rushed, but it was consistent with the series, unlike Naruto's ayy lmaos out of nowhere and whatever the fuck is happening in One Piece right now.Ir may have ended first, but it didn't receive a cringe sequel nor did it become a golden cow milked to death. The impact Kubo left on the next generation of shounen mangakas is immeasurable, almost everyone cites him as an inspiration. The comeback Bleach has with TYBW anime is unprecedented: the fixes it makes to the story, the new additions it has laying the way to what seems to be an inevitable sequel, it's nuts.Sure, there may be no ice cream made in the form of Kon's head or a Netflix live action series, but are these things really a measurement of winning? I don't think so.Bleach won.
>>288005323>Who won?We need to wait for the ending of One Piece to find out.
>>288006265Not so fast faggot
One Piece has its fans in some sunken cost purgatory, I don't envy them. Naruto has been mismanaged as an IP since before the manga ended with obvious corporate bullshit. In terms of the fanbase it has staying power. People live and die on the hill of their headcanons. Minor characters who died in the manga 15 years ago still get a lot of fan art daily. People put out 3 hour video essays and write million word rewrites. It's a flawed work that tickles people's brains. Bleach has been revealed to be hard carried by its adaptations. I might be nostalgic for the OSTs and the original two arcs. But the thousand year blood war is just a shiny coat on a fundamentally unfulfilling story. Ichigo is a reactive protagonist and the soul society is the lesser of evils. It's hard to actually care if you already know the twists. Bleach is mainly the domain of power scalers and those dazzled by sasuga moments without much emotional weight. Unless an adaptation or supplemental material is being actively put out no one spares much thought to Bleach.
>>288005323Quit being brown.
>>288006280>Luffy is too autistic to get cuckedThe only way to cuck Luffy is to tie him up, show a massive mountain of delicious meat, and eat it all in front of him as his seethes in hunger.

>>288005334The fact that One Piece has managed to build a fanbase outside of Japan is impressive to me.Toei is maybe the worst studio in the history of not only Japan, but animation in general, and the One Piece anime is, at the very least, the worst animated adaptation of a battle shonen manga.>but this other adaptation was even wor-No other anime has managed to stay on the air for this long with so many critical flaws that make it unwatchable. The fact that Toei has turned the anime into a “seasonal” series after 30 years, with the BIG change being that they’ve gone from adapting 10–13 manga pages per episode to now adapting an entire manga chapter, just shows how fucked in the head those motherfuckers are and how poorly this works as an adaptation.Every other long runner that took a break to switch to a seasonal format did so, among other things, to maintain decent pacing without fillers, every single one of them except One Piece.
>>288015452It's not fair to blame the adaptation when the source is garbage.
>>288015545Yes anon, adapting less than a third of what a normal anime adapts per episode is the source material's fault.
>>288015633You could adapt all of it and it wouldn't change anything. Since the source is garbage the adaptation was always going to be garbage.
>>288015821It's okay, anon. You don't like One Piece, I get it. That doesn't change the fact that Toei adapted the manga in the worst possible way, making the anime unwatchable for almost anyone who doesn't force themselves to watch it.
>>288005323>Big ThreeMobile Suit Gundam won the culture war anyway lmaooo. Also big 3?i'd argue nowadays its OP, JJK, MHA. Would have included Chainsaw Man but they fumbled the ending so bad i wont
>>288016111If I wanted to fix it step one would be to get a new artist to completely replace the art style.
>>288016201Nobody gives a shit about Gundam. Most gundamfags haven't even watched the OG "trilogy" because it's too fucking boring

>>288016111I still don't quite get the disdain for Toei anime, weekly anime for big shonen used to be the standard back when it was made

>>288016957>That's the only thing you know because it fits your interests. The opposite, only a fag would be able to stomach watching something that gay, and that's apparently you.
>>288016957The visuals in the early parts of OP just seem like a byproduct of the animation industry changing back then, it actually does not look that bad compared to many other early digital anime. Cant really blame them for the pacing either, it got the industry standard weekly adaptation since its old, not this nu 1 season per year trend that's been going on for shonen in recent years
I returned to Bleach something about it just feels the most revisitable to me. Its easy to say story-wise its the weakest of the Big 3. But I guess I value characters and vibe more than actual mind blowing story. Ichico is cool. The soundtrack is cool. The characters designs are amazing. Best OPs and EDs. It just feels good to watch.Naruto and One Piece have very distinct feels, but its a world Im not always in the mood for. Like right now, I dont want to hear the Naruto flute blowing, and the chanting HA!.One Piece designs I've come to hate more as time comes goes on. Too goofy, and there girls are barely lewdable. Nearly all the girls in Bleach are 8/10s, 9/10s, 10/10s. One Piece you basically just have Nami. Robin used to be hot but they ruined her.Maybe its just nostalgia, but I feel like Im always in the mood for Bleach's world. Naruto's world and One Piece I need to be in a particular mood, and I find myself less in that mood as I get older.
>>288005323>NarutoStarted great until the middle then turned convoluted. Then the sequel tainted it even more.>One PieceNot my cup of tea but the characters are refreshing, fanservices are plenty. I hate the art style but Oda sure can draw interesting silhouettes.>BleachOnly the first arc was interesting. Underwhelming character design. Kubo is pretty based though.
>>288005323Naruto won with its superior character design and story.Bleach and one piece are fucking ugly and that goes with most modern shonen.
>>288005323Naruto is the only one I feel like was big enough to be a piece of modern pop culture to some degree. It’s only until recently that one piece seems to be quite popular with normalfags but other than that always seemed pretty irrelevant to me.Bleach was always the 3rd place dark horse.
>>2880172871-10 how would you rate Gigi?
>>288017042One Piece has a lot of standout features. If the only thing that comes to mind is that there’s a guy with gender-swapping powers, that tells me a lot about you. It’s like if the only thing I knew about Naruto was that he can transform himself into a woman.>>288017097>The visuals in the early parts of OP just seem like a byproduct of the animation industry changing back then, it actually does not look that bad compared to many other early digital animeIt had worse visuals than any other anime weekly or not, from back then, and it stayed that way until fucking 2019, when Toei finally bothered to improve the visuals a bit for Wano, and they only did it because KnY and Boku no Hero were killing One Piece’s TV ratings in Japan. If you compare Arabasta or Skypiea to Naruto and Bleach from that time, it seems like One Piece is like 15 years behind, even though all three were weekly anime.>Cant really blame them for the pacing eitherAll the weekly anime series that came out before and after One Piece dropped that format years ago, and there hasn't been a weekly long runner anime in over a decade. The terrible pacing of the One Piece anime is entirely Toei's decision.
>>288017903>One Piece has a lot of gay featuresTrue, the gender fag is just one example. We would be here all day if we tried to list them all.
>If you compare Arabasta or Skypiea to Naruto and Bleach from that time, it seems like One Piece is like 15 years behindI never had much of a problem with the OP anime artstyle, got what it deserved more or less
>>288018193Actually that's a lie, I hated the OP artstyle when I was young and avoided the series for 15 years, but once I started viewing it as more of a hybrid cartoon-anime I stopped having much of a problem with the art
>>288005323OP won market-wise. In terms of quality Naruto probably has the most interesting setting/lore but the execution is middling to be kind whereas OP is less interesting and more hodgepodge but mostly competently told. Bleach is pretty much the worst in all aspects except maybe character design and the general cool feeling
Naruto probably had the most influence on mainstream culture
>>288005323Kill yourself, faggot. It's all faggotry.
>>288005323Bleach or Naruto. One Piece has and is kinda shitting itself.
>>288005323I think it is or could be Bleach.>One PieceHas gone down the drain ever since G5, and Imu is a joke. The entire setting is starting to lose its charm, with the series jumping the shark. The community seems to be cracking, creating a divide between critical people and those who will kiss Oda's ass regardless of what he does.>NarutoShippuden's ending was kinda shit. "Yeah.... sorry" and the fucking eleventh hour alien villain shit. Then there's Boruto, who you either write of as being Naruto's mutated fanfiction offspring that we exclude from Naruto itself, or you can see as Naruto's legacy, staining it more and more as time goes on. Depends on your perspective.>BleachHad its stumbles, and the second half of its final arc was notably shoddy, rushed and underwhelming, in a similar but greater vein to Naruto Shippuden. This is attributed to medical issues and rushing, but regardless of the reasons, it was anticlimactic and subpar. Kubo has a shot at resolving these issues and providing a somewhat enjoyable ending through the anime adaptation. Whether he succeeds is yet to be seen.
>>288006161Naruto is the gayest of them all.
>>288005323Its time to move on unc
>>288022853This is plain stupid, anyone arguing inf favor of Bleach must have started reading manga in the last 5 years. It never had the same cultural hegemony Naruto and OP have, hell OP only really got massively popular once Naruto ended and despite that Naruto still is a felt presence even ignoring the bs that is Boruto.
>>288023229I'm talking literally gay, not things you think are not cool.

>>288023632that is literally not gay
>>288023632>shitpostingyou have read more of it than me since I dropped it, but all I'm getting from your posts is that there actually isn't anything gay it it
>>288023686>>288023703The entire story is about the MC being obsessed with a guy he had his first kiss with while ignoring when girls confess to him.
>>288023781that still doesn't make it literally gay. It's obsessive and creepy but for platonic reasons. I don't know why you're pretending to be retarded
>>288023781I think I know who you are describing.
>>288023781Naruto isn't obsessed with Sasuke as a person, he's obsessed with the philosophy that people who do evil things don't have to commit to the darkness and be alone. He wants to end the cycle of pain and can't accept giving up on Sasuke because he was on the same route but had people like Iruka and Jiraiya believe in him.
