It's a great idea for a series.I think it could have benefitted from the pace being a bit steadier, lettering it grow between fights.First big boss alien fight on the roof had its moments, like the great suplex ending, but the alien itself was a bit rough.Seemed too strong.Maybe we'll get a V2 down the road.
Legitimately, I think I would've preferred this in a different mag. I can honestly say I have no real beef with the earlier chapters. The plot could've kicked in a little sooner but at no point did I ever go 'holy shit can the story just move forward.' It had an energy to it that I enjoyed, and I also liked that the reveal for the parasite was taking its time (knowing what we know about them now only furthers my opinion on that.) I am, sadly, not a Nipponese reader so I suppose my opinion is moot, but even they seemed to have an overall positive response to it. I genuinely think it suffers from having the most niche audience of the batch, maybe due to the wrestling?
