>>288024690Well, this is just it. I watched anime in the mid 00s and everything is different these days. No reason to keep consooming if they don't interest me. I still read manga and play games though. Anime is so expensive and hard to produce that they only make one they're 100% sure is going to be a mainstream hit or it's just low effort advertisement for the source material. I'm not saying older anime didn't do that, but what is mainstream then and what is mainstream now is different and I'm not into that anymore.
