This anime stuff is new and locals are just trying to adapt.And yeah, it sucks because trying to hone my craft by getting advice in English is practically impossible. The Warhammer/Tabletop mini style of paint achieves a very different look than anime figures because it's designed to go on 3.5" minis with a shitload of greebles as opposed to a 10" tall anime girl wearing 3 colors max.

It may be the middle of the night and after a long shift but I just finished putting up my second desperately needed shelf for figures. I need some proper risers because I'm just using some card decks I had. I feel much better about having a dedicated shelf that doesn't have to share with manga. If you have your figures share a shelf with manga, it's not the best idea and I read more now that there's easy access to the books rather than having to maneuver around figures.
