Because I don't like to go to other places where I feel consciously that I don't belong. It's even worse if the people at my destination don't speak the same language. And the activities at the destinations are boring as hell. I DON'T care to hear stories from other people, look at museums, "take in the sights", or whatever. I don't care. It's not interesting, and it just makes me want to go home.

All amenities and interests I have I can complete at home.

the concept of various countries that differ sharply in technologies, cultures, ideologies and much more while being littered around in a beautiful but small world its just wonderful.
i do wish we could have seen more of some of the countrys in the anime, though, especifically the ones in "A Peaceful Land —Mother's love".
