Catching up on Science Future now, I'm glad I waited to watch this until it's almost out. I usually give up and start reading the manga and then I can't enjoy a short anime.Shot in the dark on Why Man, I'm at the part where there's the timeskip, but if I was going to put a mark on where it's going WHY and DO YOU WANNA DIE are one whole message WHY DO YOU WANNA DIE?, the Whyman is a/are a gemstone like-creature that is trying to give immortality to humans, like whatever living diamonds were in the Medusas, but is perplexed why they keep rejecting their forms and immortality to keep wandering around the planet doing things that will destroy it. He doesn't get that being human AS human is preferable to being like them. All this story's been about Dr. Senku fighting different forms of dogma and paradigms forced on others. He breaks the traditions of the village, he rejects Tsukasa and Hyoga, he fights Ibara and challenges Xeno's paradigm despite its advancement. However he doesn't say those people are wrong in their own way, only that he rejects their paradigms himself. This will be about convincing the Why-Man to let humanity do its own thing, maybe in exchange for giving up the Medusas (or maybe not, idk)
